Ms. Walton needs to meet with the following Pep Sqaud members on Tuesday (1/31) during movement in room 204: Riniqua Rollins, Darika Scott, Johnson, Kayla Melton, Alyssa Patterson, Alanna Smith, Megan Pool and Lynsie Burke. This meeting will be short


If you are interested in running track please sign the list on Ms. Walton’s door. All students are welcome to participate as long as you have satisfactory academic and behavior standing. Please work on getting your physical completed before the season starts.


High School Announcements

The American Red Cross and the McCallie School will be conducting Lifeguarding classes this spring. The classes include certificates for Lifeguarding and First Aid (good for 2 years) and a Professional Rescuers CPR certificate (good for 2 years). The class cost $220 which includes all materials, pool rental, equipment and supplies. Students can come by the McCallie Pool to pre-register for classes. There will be someone at the pool from 3:00-6:00 Monday – Thursday. You must be 15 years old before the class starts.


High School Students: If you are interested in competing in The ACTSO Program, please attend the orientation (Q/A session) on Saturday, January 28 at the Center for Creative Arts High School. The two hour presentation begins at 10:30 a.m.; however, you are asked to arrive by 10:19 a.m. Information will cover the academic & performance contest guidelines. This opportunity is open to all African-American high school students living in Chattanooga, TN. ACTSO is sponsored by the Chattanooga Hamilton County Branch of the NAACP. Students may compete in categories of: Visual & Performance Arts, Math/Sciences, Humanities, and/or Business/Entrepreneurship. Grand prizes includes: scholarships, laptops, travel to Houston, TX (July 3-8) to compete in the National ACTSO competition, and have a chance to win up to $5,000.00! UT Model UN Delegates - Please remember that I MUST have your medical form before we leave at 12:15 today. At lunchtime on Thursday, I only had 9 of the 18. Attention all sophomores (class of 2014) if you didn't attend the meeting on Tuesday, February 24 during lunch in the auditorium or didn't sign the t-shirt and contact information sheet please come find me. The t-shirts are $10 and I will need the money by Friday at lunch. The following people need to come see me and let me know if you will be purchasing a t-shirt before Friday:
